BOW WOW BOOT CAMP

These indoor​ classes consist of circuit training with a focus on building core strength and muscle tone in both you and your dog! 
 
Although our dogs can’t really lift weights with us, strength training for dogs is very similar to that with humans - the underlying concept is to provide progressive overload to movement in order to stimulate strength and muscle growth. 

Incorporating canine strength training exercises helps to repair imbalances within the body and trains your dog to use the correct muscles for movement thereby taking pressure off the spinal discs, hips and joints in turn preventing chronic pain and injury.
 
This unique cross training program utilizes specialized canine fitness equipment for the dogs, and modalities such as the TRX, Kettlebells, Bands and Dumbbells for the humans, as well as plenty of creative bodyweight exercises designed for you and your dog to complete together – strengthening not only your muscles, but also that special human-canine bond.

These outdoor classes involve advanced glute training techniques combined with high intensity intervals utilizing hills and stairs with our dogs.

Because not only does building strong glutes help you look great, it helps with chronic pain too! 

Our sedentary lifestyles have caused these important muscles to become inactivated and weak causing compensatory movement patterns and excessive mechanical stress throughout the low back, hips, knees and ankles in turn causing chronic pain and injury.

This class will WAKE UP those glutes while training your body to move better – helping you and your dog both look and feel great!
